Shopify Quote Template for the Order Printer Pro app

A professional Shopify document to provide quotations to your customer. Templates are available the Order Printer Pro app (not the free Shopify Order Printer app).
Regarding the installation of the templates, you have the choice of either downloading the code and following instructions to add the template yourself, or if you prefer you can select the option for me to set up the template for you. If you want to see what is involved in setting up the template yourself, you'll find the instructions below:
The Order Printer Pro app can be used to create multiple document templates. So if you are looking for a Shopify Gift Receipt, or alternative Packing Slips or a different Invoice design, be sure to contact me and ask about my bespoke Shopify document service.

What does the quote display
Quote Number
Date when quote was issued (the creation date)
Quote expiry date (based on days entered when setting up the template)
Company Logo
Business Address
Billing Address
Shipping Address
Customer notes (if applicable to order)
For each line item on the order the invoice will contain:
- Product image thumbnail (displays the featured product image)
- Product title, SKU, variant options and any additional properties (i.e. personalisations entered)
- Quantity of each item ordered
- The unit price of each item (will include tax if the 'Include tax in prices' setting is selected for your store)
- The total tax charged for the line item(s) (if tax is not being charged, this field will not be displayed)
- Line item subtotal (will include tax if the 'Include tax in prices' setting is selected for your store)
Within the Totals section:
- Subtotal (the total of all items excluding shipping and discounts. Tax will be included in this value if the 'Include tax in prices' setting is selected for your store)
- Discounts (a list of all the discount codes used on the order including their value)
- Cost of shipping
- Total tax (will only be displayed if the 'Include tax in prices' setting is selected for your store)
- Order total

How do I email a copy of the quote to a customer
Order Printer Pro - You are able to generate a PDF link which can be included in the Shopify draft order invoice automated email notification.
Alternatively you can attach a copy of the quote to an email sent manually by first saving the file as a PDF.
Can I use this template with the Shopify Order Printer app (not Pro)
As the template is for quotes, it cannot be used with the free Shopify Order Printer app. This is because access to Shopify draft orders is required and not available in the free Order Printer app.
The Order Printer Pro app must be used to access draft order details.
I have provided the correct accent colour for my brand, however when printing the colours are not correct
This is usually down to the print settings available for each browser.
In Google Chrome before printing, click More Settings within the printer settings page and check/uncheck the Background graphics option.
When printing, my quote is showing web page information at the top and bottom of the print
To remove this information, you'll need to make sure that Headers and footers are not being printed within your browser print settings.

What happens after I place my order
Download code (DIY) - You will receive an email containing a link to download the required template code.
Once downloaded, open the code file and head to the instruction page, which is accessed using the link provided in the download file.
Code being installed for you - Once I have have received notification of your order, I will contact you at the earliest opportunity to make the necessary arrangements to install the template code.
What access will I need to provide for the work to be completed
Download code (DIY) - No access will be required, as you will be installing the code yourself.

In order to install the quote template, I will need access to Shopify Apps and Orders.
To gain access, following the purchase of the template, I will send you a collaborator request from my Shopify developer account, requesting access to your applicable settings. You will then need to approve this request, before any access is granted to myself.
Will I be able to process orders whilst the code is being written to my store
Absolutely, the code being written will not interfere with orders being placed, so you can continue to operate as normal.
Am I able to have more than one quote template to choose from
Yes the Order Printer Pro app allows you to create multiple document templates.
If you require a different design for a quote template, please get in touch to discuss your requirements (if you can share an example of what you are looking for, it will make the process much faster).
Am I able to print out multiple quotes at the same time
Yes the Order Printer Pro app allows you to select multiple draft orders to process and print the paperwork in bulk.
When looking at the quote totals the numbers do not appear to add up
The value in Total Tax displays, how much tax has been charged for this order.
The value is not added to the Total order amount becuase the product and shipping costs will already include the tax amount.
Although it looks a little misleading, Shopify displays it this way when prices are inclusive of VAT, so that you are aware of exactly how much tax has been paid.
If I change my theme will I need to install the template again
No, changing the theme will not affect the quote template written into the app.
I am looking for a different design or maybe a different document, such as a gift receipt

If you are able to mock up a design or send me an example of another document that you would like to base the template on, please attach a copy to the email. Not only will this make it easier for me to quote more accurately, but will also reduce the time it will take me to complete the work.
Also you are not limited to just an quote template. The only limitations are governed by the data that the order printer app has access to in Shopify.
How do I remove your collaborator access once the work is completed
Once I have completed the work on your store, I will advise you how to remove the access that you have granted me.
You can always check the access I have by heading to 'Settings > Users and Permissions'. At the bottom of the page, you will see a list of collaborators that have access to your account.
