What happens when I submit a Shopify Support request
When the request is recieved, I will provide a quotation for the investigation time required.
If supporting material is available or additional information is required, to help me refine the quotation, I will first contact you, before sending a quote.
What is supporting material
Examples of supporting material, include:
- Screenshots or video recording of the issue
- Detailed steps to recreate the error, allowing me to replicate the issue quickly
- Examples of where the error has been identified (i.e. particular orders/products
Essentially, anything that will help me understand the problem quickly and reduce the amount of investigation time required.
Will I have anything to pay after agreeing to the investigation quote
If the findings of the investigation lead to additional remedial work, then an additional quote will be raised detailing the costs involved in resolving the problem.
When will I be charged for the work
If you agree the price qouted for the work, an invoice will be raised and sent to you.
Payment is required before any investigation or remedial work will be carried out.
